Dr. Anamaria Mariș

Dr. Anamaria Mariș was born and raised in Maramureș, a place full of tradition, history and simplicity. She always knew she wanted to pursue dentistry, given the fact that it is the field in which her family works and which has provided her with inspiration over time.

A few years later, the volunteering activities during college, carried out within various institutions focused on children’s health education, convinced her that she should choose pediatric dentistry: “I realized that most children perceive the dental office as a hostile environment, where there are people who do not empathize with their suffering”.

Today, Dr. Anamaria Mariș is a pediatric dentist within the DENT ESTET 4 Kids team in Arad and she is following the residency program in General Dentistry.

“I thought I could be the doctor a child needs…”. At the same time, the #DE4Kids doctor confessed to us: “For me, pediatric dentistry is the best choice I could have made.”

The motivation of each day comes from the smiles of the patients, but also from their joy to return to the clinic, initially being fearful and anxious. Sincerity and gestures of thanks make her happy and forget about everything else.

In the relationship with the patients, the empathy and love she has for them helps her the most. She loves each one of them, listens to them, understands their fears and is there for them, because it is important for them to be confident and understand that their doctor will never do something they do not want.

She spends her free time reading and doing outdoor activities with Hugo, his 2-year-old labrador.
