Dr. Mara Gladca

Dr. Mara Gladca is a pediatric dentist at DENT ESTET 4 KIDS Brașov. She graduated in 2025 from the Faculty of Medicine at “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, specializing in Dental Medicine. In her practice, she focuses on building relationships with each child based on patience, trust, and communication. Understanding that every young patient has their own pace, emotions, and way of expressing fear or curiosity, she adapts her approach and communication to each child’s age and personality, with a strong focus on prevention and creating gentle, positive dental experiences.

For Dr. Mara Gladca, pediatric dentistry means more than treating a dental problem. She aims to ensure that positive childhood experiences help children develop a healthy relationship with dental care in the long term, so that visits to the dentist are associated with care, safety, and trust rather than fear. One of her greatest professional rewards is seeing an anxious child, or one who has had a previous negative experience, gradually become curious, cooperative, and confident.

Communication, patience, and empathy are essential in her relationship with young patients. She uses age-appropriate explanations, simple demonstrations, and the “tell-show-do” technique, helping children understand step by step what will happen during their visit. At the same time, she places great importance on working closely with parents, believing that the best results are achieved when the dentist, child, and family work together as a team.

Technology complements this approach, and digital dental radiography is an important diagnostic and monitoring tool for Dr. Mara Gladca. Particularly in children, it helps assess dental development and the position of developing tooth buds, supporting informed and appropriate treatment decisions.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and loved ones, discovering new places, taking walks, and engaging in activities that bring her energy and balance. Working with children also reminds her every day of the importance of curiosity, sincerity, and finding joy in the simple things.
