First Visit to DENT ESTET 4 KIDS Brașov
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that a child’s first dental visit should take place around the age of one or, at the latest, six months after the eruption of the first tooth. This early stage is essential for prevention and for building a healthy relationship with the dentist.
At DENT ESTET 4 KIDS Brașov, the first appointment is designed for familiarization and comfort: the child discovers the play area, gradually enters the treatment room, and meets the medical team in a gentle, age-appropriate way.
The consultation usually lasts between 30 and 45 minutes and includes:
- Evaluation of the teeth, gums, and bite;
- Assessment of oral hygiene and demonstration of the correct brushing technique;
- Personalized recommendations for parents regarding prevention and nutrition.
The goal is not immediate treatment, but prevention and building trust – the first step toward a healthy smile and a relaxed relationship with the dentist!
