Dr. Maria Taban
Specialist Dentist / Specialist Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics / Specialist Prosthodontics / Invisalign® Certificate
Dr. Maria Taban choose to become a dentist because she spent her teenage years close to the dentistry cabinet.
My mother was taking me to the dental office since I was in high school. When she first lent me a doctor’s chair, I felt that I would be happy have this profession when I grow up.
Paediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry that requires a lot of communication, involves emotion, and with children you can only be honest and completely present, says Dr. Maria Taban.
Her motivation occurs every time patients gain confidence in her and in their smiles, especially when the interaction started with anxiety.
And, of course, when I manage to motivate a child to take more care of his dental health, I feel that I have also contributed to a part of his education.
She has a good relationship with her patients because he is always on their side.
We start from empathy and reciprocity and gradually build a relationship of trust and friendship.
She spends her free time outside, roaming the mountains or exploring distant lands with her dog, Anouk.
